Here's the History

This tank originally started out as a growout tank for 6 Young Altolamprologus calvus 'inkfin'. After a little accident with a heater, I lost all the calvus. I replaced them with a wild caught pair of Altolamprologus calvus 'white chaitika'. I lost the male of the pair a few months later to some unknown cause. I still have the female.

It currently houses 4 Steatocranus casuarius, 1 breeding pair of Telmatochromis sp. 'Red Cheek', 1 female Altolamprologus calvus 'white chaitika', and 2 male Ancistrus sp. Mainly due to the S. casuarias, this tank has a lot of character and is rather active. The S. casuarius have a very curious nature, watching things inside and outside the tank.

This tank is also an ongoing experiment to determine what plants will grow under the lower lighting.

Here are the basic tank specs
